How Identoo uses information

Identoo collects the information needed to create and manage digital cards, including account details, card content, contact links, public card activity, leads submitted through public cards and billing-related records.

Information users add to cards

Card owners choose what information appears on their public card, such as name, business, job title, phone number, email, location, social links, featured actions and profile images.

Leads and enquiries

When a visitor submits their details through a public card, those details are stored for the card owner and shown in the dashboard.

Analytics

Identoo uses privacy-friendly analytics to show card owners how their public cards are used. Personal visitor data is not shown in the dashboard.

AI-assisted features

When a user chooses to use an AI-assisted feature, relevant profile, lead, message or voice-note content may be processed by the configured AI service to provide that requested function. Public Ask about me responses are designed around information the card owner has approved for use in Identoo. AI features are optional and may be subject to usage limits.

Push notifications

Card owners can opt in to browser or device notifications for meaningful events such as a visitor asking to be contacted. Notification permission is controlled by the user and their browser or device.

Payments

Payment processing is handled by the configured payment provider. Identoo stores billing status and related event records needed to manage subscription access.
